    About the role:

    • To provide administration support for the municipal contract by ensuring all relevant administration is completed in a timely fashion.
    • To take an active role in the running of the frontline operational service, keeping accurate records and being responsible for stock management amongst other general administrative duties.
    Principle responsibilities:
    • Handle any queries and work with operational managers to find suitable resolutions
    • Keep accurate records for sickness, absence, leave and agency hours
    • Manage stock levels and stock database, together with maintaining PPE records and stock orders
    • Cover control room activities and assist with correspondence and investigations
    • Assist the communications team with correspondence from elected members and residents of the borough
    • Assist Contract Manager with preparation of monthly reporting
    • Maintain HR, safety and training records
    • Take effective notes/minutes of meetings
    • Complete general administrative duties and tasks to ensure compliance
    Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
    • Previous experience within a similar administrative role is required to be successful in this position
    • Good interpersonal skills- the ability to deal with managers and frontline staff
    • Ability to work using own initiative and manage own workload
    • Excellent written and numerical skills
    • Intermediate level IT ability, using Word and Excel
    • Possess good time management skills
    • Customer service skills and positive approach to work
    • Education Level: GCSE / School certificate / NCEA 1 or 2
